How To Make A Frankincense Patch?

Step-by-step instructions on how to make a frankincense patch:

  1. In a small container or bowl. Take a few small pieces of frankincense resin and soak them in a small amount of filtered water, enough to cover the resin. Soak for 24 hours. The shelf life is months. It is suggested that you make small batches at a time.

  2. Be sure to wash your hands before taking a small piece of frankincense resin and applying it to the area needed for treatment. Remove as much hair as possible to prevent the patch from sticking to your hair before it dries.

  3. Spread evenly by dabbing your finger in the water, and spread the resin patch with a dabbing technique till it is as smooth as possible. Once the patch has dried (using a blow dryer on low heat will help speed the process), it will not come off. Once dried, you can touch the surface of the frankincense patch. Shower and bathe as usual. Be sure to dry patch again.

  4. Leave the frankincense patch on for at least 12 hours, up to a few days if you choose. It will not harm you to leave it on for long periods.

  5. To remove the patch, use olive oil. Let it soak for a few minutes and gently wipe away.

  6. Repeat treatment until you have reached your desired results.
