Feeling Less Anxious

We are living through a pandemic and this can challenge our mental well-being. In the mainstream media, there are images of negativity. How is one supposed not to feel anxiety? In this article, we will discuss the power of prayer, meditation, and relaxation.

Some helpful advice is to either stop or at least cut down on the amount of news you watch. This includes social media and anything that you would consider a trigger. This can also be distancing yourself from others that drain your energy. Set boundaries and take care of yourself. When you know what contributes to your anxiety, you are in a better position to control it.

Tools we can use to relax. The concept of mindfulness of being in your current state. Remain in the present and live the moment. You fully become aware of your surroundings. Of course, there is also meditation, and doing it can calm your physical body. How does one meditate? You can sit, lie down in a comfortable position and work with your breathing. Firstly, concentrate on your breath. Many people try to think of peaceful imagery in their minds. You can repeat a phrase over in your mind that will relax you.

The power of prayer. You don’t have to be religious to pray. It can be a conversation that you even have with yourself. Tell yourself positive statements and be thankful for all the blessings that have arrived in your life. The more you understand that you are grateful, the more blessed you will feel. This can calm you and make you less stressed out.
