Scared Of Your Own Shadow?

Many people are conditioned to do as society has dictated. They will get married because it is what they feel they are supposed to do. They will work in careers that they think will give them a status of success among their peers. These are all ego-based decisions. They are at the same time very huge decisions that will affect your entire life. Before you involve other people into the mix, one should ask themselves is this what I want?

It is essential to take stock of what makes you happy. Some people don’t want children and that’s fine. Some people don’t want to be career-minded and that is also fine. The relevant theme is to be true to yourself. If you want to become an artist and dance to your rhythm live your truth. Too many of us don’t and then we are stuck.

To unstick yourself from unhappiness, take steps that will allow you to meet that goal. Don’t just quit your job overnight, but think of ways you can create income that can replace it. Dating a bunch of people with it leading nowhere, stop dating for a while. Date yourself. That’s right. Take yourself to events, and dinner, and learn new hobbies you have been wanting to try. When you least expect it, you’ll find that someone if it is meant to be. If not, you would have had a hell of a great time being out of your comfort zone.
